A recent Roanoke Times article "Town Council plots out Christiansburg's future", pretty much says it all. The only problem is there seems to be an item or two missing. Obviously, there were meetings held to develop such an in depth document out of public eye, and no citizen input was used.

Will future stormwater cause more flooding or even a train derailment?

What about the erosion of banks that can (perhaps already are) presenting a hazard to train travel? Who would pay the price if a train derails because of inadequate stormwater management? Who has to pay to fix it? Check out the photos.
