Tempers flared a bit at the Town Council Meeting. Two split decisions, and a LOT of confusion because things were not done in the right order, resulted in Mayor Ballengee casting the deciding vote on accepting the budget and accepting the increase in fees and taxes. The Town of Christiansburg has a new budget and taxpayers will be paying more for meals, water, and sewer. (There is also an update on the long ongoing saga of the Aquatic Center.)
