Originally touted at being $14.8 Million, the Aquatic Center cost now stands at almost $18 Million. It looks like the $14.8 Million was pretty much just for the building. All the rest is for roads, parking, office equipment, computers, landscaping, etc., etc. etc. It would have been nice if this information had been upfront so that people would know exactly where their tax money was going.
